East Cork Choral Society

About Us

East Cork Choral Society is a choir for soprano, alto, tenor, and bass founded in 1978. The choir has approximately 60 singers drawn from all walks of life. We give regular performances of all the major oratorios with professional soloists and orchestras. We always welcome new members, it's never too late to join. If you would like to join us please see our New Members section.

Our rehearsals take place on Thursdays at 8pm in My Place Community Centre in Midleton, opposite from Supervalu. You can find more details and links to our upcoming performances via the Upcoming Performances link.

Colin Nicholls

Musical Director

Our Musical Director is Colin Nicholls. Prior to retirement, he held the position of Organist and Master of the Choristers of St Fin Barre's Catherdral in Cork.

New Season Commences on Thursday August 28th 2025

We are kicking off our New Season in My Place, Midleton at 8:00pm on Thursday 28th of August. Looking forward to meeting everyone on the night, new members and old.
